Each Custom Art Mug is created using the very best stoneware and ceramic glazes available. After de-molding, each mug is hand-altered and then custom glazed, ensuring each mug is unique. No two mugs will ever be exactly alike.
After the hand-alterations are complete, the first coat of glaze is applied and each mug is fired to 1800 (F) degrees. The mugs are glazed a second time to add depth and contrast and then fired to 2200 (F) degrees to ensure each mug is completely functional, durable and safe to drink from.
DISHWASHER & MICROWAVE SAFE
Due to the extensive glazing and firing process, each mug is 100% dishwasher and microwave safe. However, we highly recommend gently hand-washing your mug after each use.
Our mugs hold approximately 12-33oz and measure 4-6 inches tall, which allows plenty of room for your favorite morning brew. Please see individual product description for exact volume for each mug design.
WHY ARE WE CONSTANTLY SOLD OUT?
As we have explained above, each mug is painstakingly handcrafted, custom glazed and then fired multiple times in a kiln. The entire process involves many hours of hands-on craftsmanship, which in turn limits the total number of mugs we are able to create and offer at any given time.
Due to the high demand and the limited availability, our mugs often sell out within minutes after being made available. It is for this reason we typically announce our release dates and times at least one week in advance. The mugs are released at specific times, on the day of the release, in order to provide our customers with the best opportunity to purchase one of our handcrafted creations.
We would like to thank all those that have shared, liked and/or commented on our online posts…with a special thanks to our loyal collectors that have spent their hard-earned money on our products. It is always a very humbling experience when a collector chooses to purchase one of our mugs and we are forever grateful.
PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately, we do not take special orders, nor do we accept payments outside the set preorder dates and times.
