A RETURN TO WHERE IT ALL STARTED
Twenty-five years ago, when I first started my pottery journey, this is the kind of mug form I cut my teeth on. This design is a nod to those early days.
While the mug was sculpted digitally, I intentionally avoided making it look perfect. The slightly wonky rim, uneven walls, subtle scratches, scuffs, and other handmade imperfections were all added to give it more character and a hand-turned feel.
I wanted a mug for morning coffee that I didn’t have to baby…so we beefed it up. The walls are nearly twice as thick as our standard mugs, giving it a solid, rugged feel that’s built for everyday use.
It was a lot of fun…and really satisfying…to combine my digital sculpting skills with my traditional approach to pottery.

The colors and patterns in the photos show a range, not an exact match of what you will receive…and that’s part of the deal (and the joy) of ceramics.

Due to the nature of the glaze and high firing temperature, pinholes caused by the kiln firings may be present.
TM mugs will not include a COA or numbering.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: All international collectors will be required to choose DHL International shipping. Although more expensive, DHL is the most reliable international shipping carrier and offers reasonable delivery times with accurate tracking. Any overage charges in shipping fees due to miscalculations during checkout (it happens sometimes) will be refunded once the item ships.
